    3 lb. pork roast with bone
    2 c. dried pinto beans, washed
    8 oz. jar picante sauce
    4 1/2 c. water

    Recipe



    Place pork, beans, picante sauce and water in slow cooker.
    Cook on low heat from 12 to 16 hours until beans are done.
    Remove roast.
    Cool until it can be handled.
    Remove fat and bone.
    Shred meat and return to bean mixture.
    Serve pork and beans hot with tortillas and grated cheese or with cornbread.
    Serves 4-6.
