German Potato Salad

List of Ingredients
6 slices bacon, diced
1 large onion
2 Tbsp. flour
2 tsp. salt
2/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup vinegar
2/3 cup water
2 qts. potatoes, peeled, boiled and slicedRecipe
Simmer bacon and onion until brown.
Add flour, salt and sugar to bacon and onion mixture; add vinegar and water.
Cook slowly 5 minutes, stirring often.
Pour hot mixture over potatoes and allow to stand 1/2 hour before serving.
