I am guessing that you are assuming these may be Native American recipes. I'm sorry to disappoint you but they are just plain ole every day recipes mostly from the South. Tenasi were Cherokee Indian villages and this is where the word "Tennessee" comes from. I am of Cherokee,Choctaw and Irish heritage born and raised in Tennessee. My recipes have hillbilly roots and are cooked with Indian and Irish pride. :o) They are all very simple to fix.Any of the recipes that have question marks for the source means I have had them for so long I don't remember where I got them.
