    Recipe Introduction


    This egg bake recipe is delicious and easy for breakfast or brunch.

    List of Ingredients




    1 roll pork sausage
    1/4 C chopped onions
    6 C. cubed 3/4-inch French bread
    1 1/2 C.Half & Half
    1/4 C. butter or margarine
    3 Eggs
    1 1/2 C. Cheddar Cheese, shredded


    Cook sausage and onion in 10-inch skillet over medium heat until sausage is browned (3 to 5 minutes).
    Drain off fat, if necessary.
    Stir sausage mixture and bread cubes together in large bowl. Place into ungreased 8-inch square baking dish, set aside.

    Combine half & half, Butter and eggs in a bowl.
    Beat at medium speed until well mixed (1 minute).
    Pour egg mixture evenly over bread mixture in baking dish. Sprinkle cheese evenly on top.

    Cover tightly; refrigerate overnight.







    Recipe



    Heat oven to 350°F.
    Uncover; bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean and cheese is browned.
    Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
