    PLUM CAKE

    An old home made recipe book I bought for .25¢ at a yard sale in Jasper,TN .

    Recipe Introduction

    This recipe originally called for the cake to be made from scratch and fresh mashed plums. That was way to complicated and time consuming for me so I experimented a little and made it easier.It is very moist so it doesn't need any frosting.

    List of Ingredients

    1 yellow cake mix
    1 C. sour cream
    1 1/4 C. plum baby food
    1/4 C. veggie oil
    1/4 C. sugar
    4 large eggs


    Recipe

    Preheat oven to 350°
    Spray bundt or 9"x13" pan with cooking spray.
    Place all ingredients in large mixing bowl.
    Blend on low speed until moistened well then beat on medium speed for 3 minutes.
    Pour batter into pan and smooth top.
    Bake 40-45 minutes or until top springs back when lightly touched.
