1 1/4 C. white sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 1/2 C. coconut
1 1/2 C. cornflake cereal

Use a 1 quart, wide-mouth canning jar. Pack each layer. Combine the sugar and salt together and pour into the jar, next add the coconut, place the cereal WITHOUT packing. Seal and decorate the jar, and attach the recipe tag to the jar.

Cornflake Cookies
You will need:
3 whipped egg whites
1/2 tsp. vanilla
After whipping the eggs, add the vanilla and the jar contents and mix thoroughly. Drop by teaspoonsful onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 325 degrees F. for 15 minutes. Cool.
