PORK CHOPS WITH CROUTON STUFFING

List of Ingredients
8 pork chops, 1/2-inch thick
1 C. celery, chopped
1/2 C. onion, chopped
4 Tbsp. butter
1 C. water
1 Can chicken broth
1 tsp. sage
4 C. plain croutons
1Tbs. Veg.oil
Recipe
Preheat oven to 350°
Brown chops in oil; season with salt and pepper. Remove chops. Cook onion and celery in fat, but do not brown. Add water, broth and sage. Simmer 5 minutes. Add croutons; stir until moist.
Turn into 9" x 13" pan. Top with chops. Cover and bake for
45 minutes.
