Beef and Pasta Skillet Supper

List of Ingredients
- 1 lb. Lean ground beef
- 2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms (or 1 large can, drained)
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup chopped green pepper
- 1/2 cup chopped red pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, minched
- 3 TBSP flour
- 2 TBSP Taco Seasoning mix
- 1 1/2 cups Milk
- 1 28-oz can tomatoes, undrained
- 3/4 cup elbow macaroni
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Combine beef, mushrooms, onions, peppers and garlic in large frypan. Cook over medium heat until meat is browned and vegetables are tender. Drain off fat.
- Blend flour and taco seasoning into meat mixture. Stir in Milk. cook and stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil and thickens.
- Cut up tomatoes; add tomatoes and juice to pan. Stir in macaroni. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 15 minutes or until pasta is cooked; stir occasionally. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 30 minutes
Yield: 5 or 6 servings, depending on appetites.
NOTE: To make your own Taco Seasoning Spices which you can keep in a sealed jar, go to my ETHNIC Section to find the recipe. I have used it for years and it gives the same taste as a regular store-bought Taco Seasoning envelope, and the recipe was given to me by my cousin Bonnie LeRoy.
