    Recipe Introduction

I have made this cookie recipe over a dozen times since finding it and keep adding new ingredients to get a different batch every time. They are soooo easy to do, and quick to make too.

    List of Ingredients

    • 1 pkg (18.25 oz) YELLOW or Butter Cake Mix
    • 2 large eggs
    • 1 stick butter, melted 1 pinch of salt
    • 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar, dark if you have it
    • 1-2 heaping TBSP Cocoa Powder
    • 1 cup butterscotch chips (optional) I USE CHOCOLATE chips
    • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
    • Other ingredients I have added in the mix are
    • 1/2 pkg Jello Instant Chocolate Pudding
    • 1/3 cup oil
    • Handful of coconut flakes
    • Handful of Craisins

    Instructions

    1. Heat oven at 350 degrees F.

    2. Line 2 baking sheets with foil and spray with Pam.
    3. Combine cake mix, eggs. butter, brown sugar and cocoa powder in a bowl, stirring to combine well.
    4. If you want to add the other stuff like Jello Pudding and Oil, throw it in now too.
    5. Then, fold in the chippits, craisins, coconut, walnuts or craisins at this time.
    6. Drop by level TBSPful on prepared sheets.

    7. Bake at 350 for 14-15 minutes or until desired consistency is acquired.

    8. Cool 2 minutes on sheets on wire racks, then transfer cookies on racks to cool completely.

    9. Repeat with remaining dough.
