Kate's Famous Chocolate Chip Cookies

List of Ingredients



• 2/3 cup margarine
  
• 1/2 cup sugar
  
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
  
• 1 egg
  
• 1/2 tsp almond flavoring
  
• 1 1/2 cup flour
  
• 1/2 tsp salt
  
• 1/2 tsp baking soda
  
• 1 - 1 1/4 cups mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
  
• 1/2 cup walnuts or pecans (optional, but soooooo good)
  






Instructions



1. Mix first 5 ingredients together.
   
   
2. Add the next 3 and blend everything well.
   
   
3. Stir in the chocolate chips, and the nuts if you choose to add in.
   
   
4. Bake at 375° until cookies JUST START to brown.
   
   
5. UNDERBAKE ! ! ! ! !
   
   






Final Comments


This recipe, IF DOUBLED, yields about 5-6 dozen cookies..... in the vicinity of 70 cookies of 2 1/2" in diameter. DELICIOUS ! ! !
