Recipe Introduction
Tasted this dish at our favorite Michigan Restaurant. This caramelized crisp and steaming hot ball of ice cream filled a large bowl, and was surrounded with whipped cream squirts, smothered with hot fudge and topped with a couple cherries. Out of this world!
List of Ingredients
- Vanilla Ice Cream
- Graham crumbs
- Corn Flakes, crushed
- Milk & eggs mixture
Instructions
- Prepare ice cream balls and freeze on a cookie sheet until EXTRA FIRM.
- BUT BEFORE FREEZING: Roll balls in a mixture of Graham Cracker Crumbs & Corn Flakes.
- Dip in the milk 7 eggs mixture.
- Then roll balls in the Graham-corn Flakes mixture again.
- FREEZE.
- When ready to use, heat oil in a large heavy saucepan. Drop each ice cream ball in the oil for approx. 35-50 seconds.
- Place each ball in a separate bowl. Top with hot fudge sauce, whipped cream squirts, cherries and sprinkles if you want.
Final Comments
Mouth Watering Dessert. You'll be dreaming about it all night!
