Margarita's Donuts

Recipe Introduction
Margarita used this dough to make either deep fried donuts or Churros which she dipped in cinnamon-sugar when pastry fresh out of the oil tray. YUMMY!
List of Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 cup soft butter
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 3/4 cup milk
- 2 Tsp. baking powder
- Dash Salt
- 2 Tsp. Nutmeg
- 3 cups flour or more
Instructions
- Beat first 4 ingredients very well then start adding the flour mixture gradually until quite thick.
- Place dough on floured table and add flour to dough until manageable and not sticky.
- Roll out and cut in donut shapes.
- Fry in very hot grease until both sides are golden brown.
- Place on paper bag sheets to drip dry, and roll in cinnamon-sugar if you so wish.
Final Comments
Donuts freeze very well.
