    2 cups sugar
    2 eggs
    4 squares unsweetened chocolate
    1/2 cup butter
    1/2 cup floor
    2 teaspoons vanilla
    1/2 walnuts -- chopped
    1 egg -- beaten
    2 tablespoons light cream
    2 tablespoons butter

    Combine 1 cup sugar and 2 eggs; beat.

    Melt 2 squares chocolate with 1/2 cup butter; add to egg mixture. Blend in flour, 1 teaspoon vanilla and nuts. Spread in greased 8-inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 25 to 35 minutes; cool on rack.

    Combine remaining 1 cup sugar, beaten egg, cream, 2 squares chocolate, 2 tablespoons butter and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Bring to a boil stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir until spreading consistency. Spread over cooled brownies. Makes 16.
