    2 cups Bisquick® baking mix
    2/3 cup sugar
    3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
    1 egg
    1/3 cup shortening
    21 ounces cherry pie filling

    Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Grease a 9 x 9-inch square baking pan.

    Mix together all the ingredients except the pie filling.

    Pat 2/3 of the dough into prepared baking pan. Spread pie filling over dough in pan. Crumble remaining dough over pie filling.

    Bake about 30 minutes.

    Serves 9 to 12.
