2 cups self-rising flour
1/4 cup shortening
3/4 cup milk
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Cut flour and shortening until mixture looks like fine meal.
Add milk and stir with a fork until a soft dough forms. Knead gently about 10 times.
Pat out and cut into biscuits.
Bake until golden brown.
