    365 Winter Warmer Slow Cooker Recipes

    List of Ingredients





    2 pounds round steak -- cut 1" thick
    Salt and pepper -- to taste
    1 cup flour
    1/4 cup corn oil
    12 ounces diced tomatoes -- with celery and onion

    Recipe





    Cut steak into 4 equal size pieces. Pound steak lightly with meat tenderizer. Season with salt and pepper and dredge the meat in the flour. Heat a saute pan over medium high heat and add the oil. Saute the beef until well browned, turn and repeat on the other side. Put the browned meat in the slow cooker. Add the diced tomatoes and cook for 3 hours on high or 6 hours on low. Serve steak with some of the steak over it.

    Serves 4.
