    Six Ingredients or Less??

    I adapted this recipe from one I found in Six Ingredients or Less. Well that's what my old memory tells me. :-)

    List of Ingredients




    1 cup heavy cream
    2/3 cup sugar
    3/4 teaspoon salt
    4 teaspoons baking powder
    2 cups flour

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.

    Whip cream until thickened. Combine remaining ingredients, stirring to blend. Stir in whipped cream. You may need to use your hands to thoroughly mix the dry ingredients. Turn out on floured surface and knead a couple of times to make a smooth dough. Pat to 1/2-inch thickness. Cut with 2 3/8-inch biscuit cutter. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 425 degrees F for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned. If biscuits tend to get too brown on the bottom, you may have to raise the oven rack. Makes 10 biscuits.

    Variation: Pat dough into a 1/2-inch circle and cut into 8 wedges.
