My grandmother used to make something similar to this and I love this stuff!!


List of Ingredients




1 large box strawberry gelatin
1 box frozen strawberries (don't use fresh) -- (12 ounce)
1 angel food cake -- (10-inch) broken into small pieces
1 container Cool Whip® -- (8 ounce)

Mix gelatin with 2 cups hot water, then 1 cup cold water. Add strawberries and pour into a 13 x 9-inch pan. Refrigerate until partly jelled. Mix in cake. Top with Cool Whip®. Refrigerate an hour or two. Cut into squares.

Makes 8 to 10 servings.
