Butter-Glazed Apples

2 tablespoons butter
4 medium apples -- 1 quart, washed, cored, sliced
1/2 cup sugar -- or brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Recipe
Melt butter in a large skillet and add sliced apples. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Cover skillet, cook over low heat for 10 min. Remove cover. Cook over med. Heat, stirring frequently, until apples are glazed, tender, and slightly transparent. Amount: 4 to 6 servings.
