List of Ingredients
1 quart fruit -- apples, peaches, plums, pears, cherries
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
Wash, pare, core and cut up or leave whole the fruit.
Bring the sugar and water to a boil. Add the prepared fruit.
Simmer until tender and slightly transparent. Cool.
Makes a nice light dessert and is good with a plain cookie.
