One Pot Spaghetti

8 ounces ground beef, lean
1/2 pound mushrooms -- sliced
1/2 cup onion -- chopped
1 clove garlic -- minced
14 1/2 ounces water
1 3/4 cups water
6 ounces tomato paste
1 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon basil -- crushed
1/4 teaspoon pepper
6 ounces spaghetti -- broken
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese -- grated
2 teaspoons Better Than Boullon Chicken Base
Recipe
Cook ground beef or pork sausage, fresh mushrooms (if using), onion and garlic until meat is browned. Drain fat. Stir in the canned mushrooms (if using), chicken, chicken or beef broth, water, tomato paste, oregano, basil and pepper. bring to boiling. Add the broken spaghettis, a little at a time, stirring constantly. Boil gently, uncovered, for 17 to 20 minutes, or until spaghetti is tender and sauce is of the desired consistency. Serve with Parmesan cheese. Makes 4 servings.
