4 cups flour
3 eggs
1 cup water
1 tablespoon salt
Prepare a firm dough from the flour, eggs, water and salt. Beat until dough leaves sides of the bowl. Form into dumplings (I use a Spatzle maker) and boil in salted water. Skim the Spatzle from the boiling water and serve on a hot platter. Can also be browned in butter before serving.
Can also serve with grated cheese and Onion Butter.
