    4 pounds chicken pieces
    salt
    pepper
    garlic salt
    1/2 cup sliced mushrooms -- fresh or canned
    1/4 cup butter
    3 tablespoons tarragon -- dried
    3/4 cup dry white wine

    Brown seasoned chicken pieces in butter. Remove chicken pieces to a platter and then brown the mushrooms, for 4 minutes. Add the chicken pieces to the mushrooms in the skillet. Sprinkle with tarragon on both sides and then add the white wine. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes. Freezes well.
