    Mary's Sweet Coleslaw

    Source of Recipe

Adapted from an old Betty Crocker recipe.

    Recipe Introduction

You can leave out the raisins and use a chopped apple instead. Makes a sweet slaw.

    List of Ingredients

    1 1/4 cups shredded cabbage
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1 tablespoon Splenda Granular
    1/3 cup fat-free mayonnaise
1/8 teaspoon lemon juice -- a few drops
    2 tablespoons 2% low-fat milk -- approximate, enough to
    moisten dressing
    1/2 cup miniature marshmallows
    1/4 cup raisins

In medium salad bowl add shredded cabbage.

In small bowl, combine salt, Splenda, fat-free mayonnaise, lemon juice and
low-fat milk. Use enough milk to thin out mayonnaise to make a dressing.
Mix until smooth. Add to cabbage and mix to combine. Add marshmallows and
mix to combine. Let refrigerate for approximately 4 hours before serving.

Just before serving add 1/2 of a cubed apple, optional.

    Serves 2 to 3.
