    Garlic Soy Dip

    Source of Recipe

Unknown but it could have been Martha Stewart

    Recipe Introduction

Yummy with just about anything Asian inspired. Good with egg rolls, wontons and even rice.

    List of Ingredients

    1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon white vinegar -- scant amount
    1/4 teaspoon sesame oil
    1 pinch sugar
1 teaspoon fresh garlic -- fine

    Recipe

Mix the liquid ingredients and add the sugar. Add the garlic and stir to blend. Let stand 5 to 10 minutes before using to give the garlic time to permeate the soy. Dribble 1/2 teaspoon over individual dumplings or meatballs. For serving in a shallow dip dish, garnish with a few green scallion rings. Use sparingly. Make fresh each time.
