    Braised Garlic Cloves Simmered in Cream

    1 head garlic -- large head
    2 tablespoons butter
    1/2 cup heavy cream
    salt and white pepper -- to taste

    Recipe



    Cook a large head of garlic in melted butter in a covered saucepan. Cook over low heat 10 to 15 minutes until very tender. They should be a creamy yellow --- no more.

    Pour cream into the braised garlic and season with salt and pepper. Simmer over low heat 5 to 10 minutes or until tender.

    Use as a garnish or add to mashed potatoes.
