1 1/2 pounds green beans
3 tablespoons butter -- melted
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/4 cup parsley -- finely chopped
1 cup cashews
Recipe
Blanch green beans in boiling salted water.
While beans are cooking, melt butter and add the salt, pepper and parsley. Stir to mix.
Drain beans and place in a warm bowl. sprinkle cashews on top and then pour melted butter over beans. Toss well. Serve immediately. Serves 6.
