1 pkg frozen green beans -- (16 oz)
1 cup carrot -- sliced
1 cup onion -- sliced
1/2 cup celery -- sliced
2 cups water
1 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
Recipe
In a large saucepan, combine beans, carrots, onion, celery, water, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cover. Simmer for 30 minutes until vegetables are tender, stirring occasionally. Drain and serve. To freeze: Allow to cool. Place in freezer bag. Label and freeze.
To serve: Heat and serve.
