cook on high 1 hour, then low for 8 hours
List of Ingredients
- 1 med onion, peeled, sliced and separted into rings
- 1 1/2 cups thin sliced mushroom
- 2 1/2 pounds round or cubed steak cut into 3 or 4 pieces
- 10 oz can cream of mushroom soup
- 2 tbls tomato paste
- 1/2 cup shredded swiss cheese
Instructions
- place onion rings and mushroom in the bottom of a slow cooker
- place meat on top of onions
- mix undiluted mushroom soup with 1 tbls of tomato paste
- pour this mixture over meat
- 15 minutes before serving whisk remaining 1 tbps tomato paste into sauce
- sprinkle shredded swiss cheese over the top
- cover and continue cooking for 15 more minutes
