List of Ingredients
- 1 lb of italian sausage (removed from casing)
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 3 16 oz cans beef brothe
- 1 can white beans
- 1/2 pound cooked Ditalini
- 1 small can tomatoe paste
- 1/2 tsp basil
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 med. onion chopped
Instructions
- In a dutch oven brown sausage and onion together. Do NOT drain.
- Add beef brothe and diced tomatoes.
- Add tomatoe paste. Stir until mixed in.
- Add basil, garlic and oregano.
- Cover and let simmer for 2 hours.
- Cook ditalini to desired softness, drain and add to dutch oven.
- Add can of great northern beans.
- Gently stir until all ingredients are blended.
- Cover and let simmer for 30 minutes.
Final Comments
When served, top with grated cheese. Serve with salad and Italian bread for a great snowy day dinner.
