3-pounds stew meat
1 envelope onion soup mix
1 can mushroom soup,undiluted
1 (4-oz) can sliced mushrooms, undrained
1/2 cup burgundy wine
1 cup dairy sour cream
Recipe
Toss beef with onion soup. Mix in large casserole. Add soup, mushrooms and wine.
Cover, bake at 300° for 3 hours. Stir in sour cream at serving time.
Serve over mashed potatoes, noodles or rice.
Yield: 8 servings.
