Recipe Introduction
These are delicious little appetizers. They make ahead well and are easy, but impressive.
List of Ingredients
1 long French baguette - 1/2" slices
2 T. olive oil
garlic clove, sliced
1/2 c. mayo
5 T. capers
3 T. sliced chives
1/4 c. fresh grated parmesan cheese
1/4 t. garlic powder
deli roast beef
plum tomatoes, slice thin and drained on paper towels
more sliced chives for garnishRecipe
Gently saute the sliced garlic in olive oil. Brush the sliced bread w/ the oil and toast it in a 300 degree oven until browned.
Mix the mayo, capers, chives, parmesan and garlic powder. Spread over the toasts. Top with a folded slice of beef, a tomato slice and some chives.
