List of Ingredients
Combine in a large pan:
3 qts. Peeled, chopped tomatoes
3 c. Chopped onions
6 jalapeno peppers, seeded and finely chopped (I don't use these)
4 long green chilies, peeled , seeded and chopped
4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
24 oz. Canned tomato paste
1 ½ c. Lemon juice
1 T. Salt
1 T. Sugar
1 T. Cumin
2 T. Oregano
1 tsp. Black pepper
Recipe
Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Ladle
into pint jars leaving ½ inch headspace. Process in boiling water bath 20 minutes.
Yield: 7 pints.
