SPICEY POTATO SOUP

List of Ingredients
1 pound of ground beef
4 cups cubed peeled potatoes (1/2 inch cubes)
1 small onion
3-8oz cans of tomato sauce
4 cups water
2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 to 1 tsp. pepper sauce ( I start with a 1/4 tsp. taste depends on how
spicy you like things.Recipe
In a dutch oven or large kettle, brown ground beef and drain off fat. Add
potatoes, onion and tomato sauce. Stir in water, salt, pepper and hot
pepper sauce; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour or until
the potatoes are tender and the soup has thickened. Serves 6 to 8.
Sometimes I add carrots, celery, rice to make it a little different.
