Slow Cooker Cheese Dip
1 pound ground beef
1/2 pound bulk hot pork
sausage
2 pounds process American
Cheese cubed
2 10 ounce each cans diced
tomatoes and green chilies
undrained
tortilla chips
In a skillet, cook beef and sausage over medium heat until
no longer pink; drain. Transfer to a 5 quart slow cooker.
Add cheese and tomatoes; mix well. Cover and
cook on LOW for 4 hours or until the cheese is melted,
stirring occasionally. Serve with tortilla chips. Yield
3 quarts.
TIMELY TIP: If you plan on serving Slow Cooker Cheese Dip
at a holiday party or family get together, make it ahead
and freeze it. Then all you need to do is thaw and reheat
it.
