    HEAVENLY DINNER ROLLS


    1 pk active dry yeast,

    1/4 c warm water,

    2c warm mik,

    1/2 c sugar ,

    1/2 c shortning,

    4 c flour(divided),

    1tea bakinf powder,

    1/2 tea baking soda,

    1/2 tea salt.


    In mixing bowl disolve yeast in warm water
    .Add milk,sugar,shortning and 2 cups flour beat until smooth.
    Cover and let rise 2 hours.
    Add baking powder,baking soda,salt and enough flour to form a soft slightly sticky dough.
    Cover and refrigerate until ready to use. Turn out on heavily floured surface and cut into rolls.
    Place on greased baking sheet and let rise until nearly doubled.
    Bake 350 degrees between 20 and thirty minutes. makes about 44.Dough may be refrigerated up to three days.I baked all of mine and froze some baked rolls.
