    Sour Cream Banana Loaf

    I decided to try a different banana loaf this time. I dont even care for banana loaf but I liked this one,so its the one I will be using from now on.
    I found the large loaf took 1 hr. 10 min.

    Sour Cream Banana Bread
    1/2 cup butter

    1 cup sugar

    2 eggs

    1 teaspoon vanilla extract

    1 1/2 cups flour

    1 teaspoon baking soda

    1/2 teaspoon salt

    1 cup mashed bananas

    1/2 cup nuts
    1/2 cup sour cream or plain yogurt

    1. Cream the butter and sugar.
    2. Add eggs and vanilla.
    3. Add dry ingredients; mix.
    4. Add bananas, nuts, and sour cream.
    5. Bake in a greased loaf pan at 350* for 1 hour. For mini loaves, cook for 45 minutes.
    6. Variation: Substitute pumpkin for bananas, omit nuts.
