***Great Northern Beans and ham

I never soak my beans. I clean them after getting the bad ones and rocks out,then I cover them with water and boiling them for about 30 minutesI pout off the water and then cover with hot water again and boil again for about 30 minutes and keep this up until all the green water is gone. We never have gas this way and we love the beans. After the green water is gone then add dry onion soup,ham, some beef broth and cook on simmer for several hours.
