    Coffee Cake

    Topping
    6 tbsp. of butter
    1 cup of brown sugar
    2 tsp. of cinnamon
    1 cup of chopped nuts (if desired)
    Mix together and set aside

    Cake

    1/2 cup of shortening (Iused marg)
    3/4 cup of sugar
    1 tsp. of vanilla
    3 eggs
    2 cups of flour
    1 tsp. of baking pwd.
    1 tsp. of baking soda
    1 cup of sour cream

    Method
    Cream the shortening, sugar and vanilla thoroughly
    Add the eggs and beat well
    Sift flour, baking pwd. and soda together add thisand sour cream to creamed mixture blendind well after each addition.
    Spread half of the batter in a prepared pan. Over this sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mixture. Cover with the remaining batter and sprinkle with rest of sugar and cinnamon.
    Bake at 350 degrees 40-45 minutes.
    I used a bundit pan.
