GRAPE PIE

3 1/2 cups concord grapes
1 cup sugar
4 TBS flour
1 1/2 TBS melted butter
1 TBS lemon juice
9" pastry crust
Wash, drain and stem grapes. Remove the skins and set aside. Simmer the pulp for five mins. DO NOT add water to the pulp. Remove the seeds from pulp with a sieve (food mill, etc.). Combine pulp and skins. Combine sugar and flour and add grapes. Blend in juice and butter. Pour into pastry crust. Cover with second crust (with vents) or lattice strips.
Bake in a preheated 425 degree F oven for 10 mins. Reduce to 350 and bake for 30 more.
**For a crumble topped pie...**
3/4 cup flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup melted butter
Rub together ingredients and top pie, before you bake. For the crumble topping, bake pie in a preheated 350 degree F. oven for 40 mins.
