    *** Lemon Meringue Pie

    Lemon Meringue Pie
    Mix together:
    1 cup sugar
    1 1/4 cup water
    1 TBSP. butter
    Heat over low heat until sugar is dissolved
    Mix and ADD:
    1/4 cornstarch
    3 TBSP. Water
    Cook until mixture is clear. About 8 minutes
    ADD:
    6 TBSP. Lemon juice
    1 tsp. Lemon peel
    Cook for 2 minutes
    MIX:
    3 egg yolks
    2 TBSP. Milk
    Mix and bring to a boil.
    Pour into a cooked 8" pie shell. Add meringue and brown in oven. (I use cream of tarter in my meringue) Let
