1/2 HALF CUP SUGAR
1 CUP OATMEAL
1/4 LB. MELTED BUTTER
1 TABLESPOON GOLDEN SYRUP (TREACLE CAN BE USED)
1 CUP COCONUT
1 CUP FLOUR
1 LEVEL TEASPOON BI CARBONATE SODA
2 TABLESPOONS BOILING WATER
MIX ALL DRY INGREDIENTS TOGETHER,
POUR IN MELTED BUTTER AND ADD SODA
AND SYRUP DISSOLVED IN BOILING WATER, AND
MIX WELL. DROP IN SMALL PIECES
ONTO OVEN BAKING TRAY INTO A MODERATE OVEN
AND COOK FOR 20 MINUTES.
