    FRUIT CAKE COOKIES

    1 c. butter
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 lb. dates (cut)
    1/2 lb. pineapple (cut)
    1/2 lb. cherries (cut)
    2 c. pecans (chopped)
    1 tsp. salt

    Cream butter, sugar and eggs. Add remaining ingredients.
    Lastly add 1 teaspoon vanilla.
    Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes after dropping on greased sheet.
