Delicious and Easy "Hot Fudge Sauce"
This is soooo easy and soooo good!
Hot Fudge Sauce
2-squares unsweetened chocolate
1/2-stick butter (not magarine)
3/4-cup sugar
1/2-cup canned Carnation milk
pinch of salt
1-teaspoon vanilla (added later)
Melt together, butter and chocolate squares. Stir in sugar, canned milk, and salt. Cook until mixture comes to a boil, stirring constantly. When mixture starts to boil, remove from heat and add vanilla. Mix well.
Will store well in refrigerator. Easily reheated in microwave. When I make a Pound Cake, we get a slice of cake, put on a scoop of vanilla ice cream, top with the hot fudge sauce. Sometimes we toast chopped pecans and sprinkle on top. Deeeelicious!!
