Easy Cherry Dessert
1 yellow cake mix
2 cans cherry pie filling
1 tsp almond extract
1 (5 oz) can evaporated milk
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 cup natural sliced almonds
Oven 350 degrees. Grease a 13 X 9 baking dish/pan. Combine pie filling and almond flavoring and spread ovenly over bottom of prepared baking dish. Evenly spread dry cake mix over cherries. Pour evaporated milk evenly over top of cake mix. Drizzle melted butter over mix then sprinkle sliced almonds over top. Bake 40-45 minutes until light golden brown. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
