    You will need:

    Whole Oregano

    Basil

    Parsley

    Minced Garlic

    16 oz. Shredded Mozzarella

    16 oz. Lasagna Noodles (oven-ready)

    24 oz. Cottage Cheese

    1 lb. Hamburger

    1 lb. Italian Sausage

    ½ cup Parmesan cheese

    1 lg. Onion (chopped)

    28 oz. Can diced tomatoes

    16 oz. Can tomato sauce





    1. Brown hamburger and sausage with a heaping teaspoon of garlic and the chopped onion. Drain well.


    2. Mix cottage cheese, parmesan cheese, teaspoon oregano, ½ teaspoon salt, teaspoon of parsley in a bowl and set aside.


    3. Pour diced tomatoes and tomato sauce in with drained meat and stir together. Add 2 heaping teaspoons of parsley, heaping teaspoon of basil, and a teaspoon of salt. Bring to boil and then simmer for about 15 minutes.


    4. Layer:

    noodles (OVEN READY wKIND)

    1/3 of the meat/tomato mixture

    ½ of cottage cheese mixture

    ½ of the mozzarella

    noodles

    1/3 of the meat/tomato mixture

    ½ of cottage cheese mixture

    ½ of the mozzarella

    noodles

    rest of meat mixture

    sprinkle top with parmesan cheese
    .

    5. Refrigerate over-night


    6. Bake at 375 for 45 minutes


    7. Let rest for 5-10 minutes
    .
