MONA'S GTEEN PEA SALAD
2 LARGE PLG. FROZEN PEAS ( LARGEST )
PUT THEM IN A COLLARD AND RUN HOT
WATER OVER THEM FOR AT LEAST 3 MINUTES.
IF USING BABY FROZEN PEAS USE 4 PKG. THESE
ARE BEST BUT COST IS A LOT HIGHER.
1 CHOPPED FINE LARGE SWEET ONION
4 TO 5 STALKS OF CELERY CHOPPED UP FINELY
1 8 OZ. CHEESE OF YOUR CHOICE ( I USE MILD
CHEDDER)
1/4 TSP. CELERY SEED (AFTER MIXING CAN
ADD MORE)
1 CUP DIICED UP SWEET OR DILL PICKEL ( I USE
DILL)
1 TO 2 TSP. PREPARED MUSTRAD
1.2 TO 1 CUP OF MAYO ( CAN ADD MORE IF
WANT) mIX WITH A LITTLE MILE AND WHIP UNTIL
LIKE BUTTERMILK.
MIX UP AND ADD SEA SALT AND PEPPER TO
TASTE.
CHILL OVER NIGHT.... ENJOY!
SOME PEOPLE USE BOILED EGGS SLICED UP IN
THIS BUT I REALLY DON'T CARE FOR THEM IN
MY SALAD.
