    Melt-In-Your-Mouth Barbecued Ribs

    2 sides pork spareribs (about 6 pounds), separated
    1 (28-ounce) can chunky tomato sauce
    1/3 cup brown sugar
    2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
    1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
    1 tablespoon reduced-sodium soy sauce
    1 tablespoon chili powder
    2 teaspoons ground cumin
    1 teaspoon paprika
    1 teaspoon garlic powder
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

    Put ribs in a slow cooker. Mix together the remaining ingredients and pour over the ribs. Cover and cook on low for 6 - 8 hours.

    serves 8
