Spiced Cabbage
Even cabbage haters like this, if they will try it.
1 pound cabbage, sliced
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 small clove of garlic, finely minced
1 pinch each of ground ginger and tumeric
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/4 cup water
Heat oil in medium saucepan with a cover over medium heat.
Add onion and stir for 2 minutes.
Add cabbage and spices
Stir until well coated.
Add water, cover and steam for 10 minutes.
Uncover, turn heat to high continue cooking for 5 minutes.
