Too funny! ANOTHER Trademarked_Name_1 Bread Pudding
What a funny coincidence! I made a version of a Trademarked_Name_1 Bread Pudding this weekend! This is one of the most amazing things we have ever tasted. It is delicious, luxurious, elegant and comforting, all at once. I made it with regular glazed doughnuts, but now that I have, I can imagine all sorts of variations – adding dried fruit, or chocolate chips, using different kinds of doughnuts – I have even thought of doing a Cinnabon bread pudding (I am evil, I know).

9 day old glazed Trademarked_Name_1 doughnuts (or frozen ones)
2 large eggs plus 2 egg yolks
½ c. + 1 T. sugar
1 t. vanilla
½ t. salt
½ t. cinnamon
¼ t. nutmeg
3 c. whole milk
Instructions
Butter a 2-qt. baking dish and set aside.
Cut doughnuts into eighths and spread evenly in baking dish.
In a bowl, whisk together remaining ingredients and pour over doughnuts. Let rest 1 hour.
Make a water bath for the pudding by placing the baking dish in a shallow, ovenproof pan. Fill ovenproof pan with warm water and place in oven.
Bake 70 – 75 minutes; center should be firm.
Final Comments
Serves 8.
Serve warm or cold (warm is better). I sprinkled the top with cinnamon sugar before baking.
